In addition to delivering superior orthodontic care, Weintraub & Eltink Orthodontics is committed to fostering a sense of community among its patients. Our community events include sponsorship of our patients in the Buffalo Grove Stampede, a post-Halloween candy buy-back, educational programs at the elementary school level and visits to the office by local Girl Scout Troops. There is always something fun going on in our office!

Buffalo Grove Stampede
As part of our ongoing commitment to our patients’ health and well being, our office annually sponsors patients in the Buffalo Grove Stampede 5k run/walk and 10k run. Each year we sponsor more than 50 participants in the race, covering their entry fees and providing t-shirts and refreshments at the finish line. Our participation in the Stampede continues to grow, making it one of the highlights of our year.

Post-Halloween Candy Buy-Back
In an effort to promote a safe and healthy Halloween for children, Weintraub & Eltink Orthodontics buys back the candy that young trick-or-treaters collect. More than 80 pounds of candy are surrendered by patients of our practice each year, and at $1 per pound, many patients turn a pretty nice profit. The surrendered candy is sent to our troops in Iraq, so that they may use the candy to promote goodwill and friendship with the local children.
